Camp Metric zinc anodes fit propeller shafts of metric diameters found on traditional inboard style boats. Stainless steel bolts and nuts are cast into the collars to create a tight clamp around the shaft. These sacrificial anodes increase cathodic protection by incorporating copper contact for permanent ground.
Prepare the shaft in area where anode mounts by cleaning to shiny metal for most effective anti-corrosion results. Anodes require a clean conductive surface for effectiveness. Never paint over any anode.
