Question

What's the difference between the regular, master and cylinder repair kits?

Asked on 06/26/2012 by Bill McCarriston

Top Answer

on the catalog page showing the head, the left-hand column has Parts & Assembly selection catagory. Click on that and you'll see a parts break down and a spread sheet with two columns, one for each kit. You get a few extra gaskets with the master kit repair.

If you go to the lin above, on that page is a parts assembly list link (on the left near the bottom). It shows what is included in the regular vs the master. Basicly the mater has a toile base gasket and a piston assembly. I just finished rebuilding my pump and decided not to take off the toilet base. I did replace the piston assembly, although I probably didn't need to do that. So I could have gotten by with the regular vs the master. Sorry I don't have information re the cylinder repair kit. I hope this helps. Later. John P.

Yes to both. You can buy a rebuild kit, or a full pump assembly.

I don't think so, as the fittings that it interfaces to are not set up for that side. maybe they have some type of adapter kit, but I am unaware of one.

Remove any fluids, lubricate the lower seals with silicone paste or a similar o-ring safe lubricant, and flush it with some "STA-31200" antifreeze, we sell all of these products, thank you.
