Circular Cotter Rings are often used to secure clevis pins and turnbuckles or rigging screws. Cotter Rings are reusable and often used in place of straight cotter pins that must be bent to hold firmly.
Our Cotter Rings are 18-8 Marine grade Stainless Steel.

give me a break, we're talking cotter pins!

This particular size are not true cotter rings. They are a ring like on a key chain and make them very difficult to use. The smaller size I ordered were true cotter rings with the pig tail and easy to use.

These are much easier to install than the plain "key ring" type. The bent center end allows much easier placement on the pin. Also eases removal while still keeping your pins secure.

The circular pins do not have the offset section shown in the picture and are therefore impossible to use without opening them with a knife or similar tool.
