The RD Series Boat Paddle has the Caviness Wedge Insert as a "Standard" feature. This cross grain end lamination process provides the butt of the paddle blade with a feature normally applied to only very expensive paddles! With the Wedge Insert, Palm Grip, and Twin Stripe Design, there is not a better buy to be had! Available in lengths 4 1/2 feet through 6 feet, in 6 inch increments.

Based on the previous comment about using these paddles for decorative purposes I decided to try them. I'm an interior designer and used them for a clients pool room. I purchased 4 robe hooks to hang 2 of the paddles stacked horizontally and they do look great!

Bought 2 of these paddles for decorative purposes only. Didn't want paddles that were decorated with rope or painting on, wanted it natural and authentic. Hung on cedar wall of our lake cabin over my son's bed. Look great - an inexpensive decorating idea!
