Epifanes Wood Primer offers excellent adhesion and filling to bare wood. Sands well. High build for single part monourethane paints. Werdol primer one-component airdrying primer for wood, based on alkyd resin. Recommended to be used to undercoat bare wood for enamels and MonoUrethanes from Epifanes (or other similar marine topcoats.) Werdol can be brushed, rolled or sprayed.

  • Application: Brush, rolled, conventional air spray, H.V.L.P., airless
  • Temperature should be between 50 degrees F and 85 Degrees F with the air humidity below 85 percent. Avoid painting in too much wind or sun. A rapid loss of solvents will occur under these conditions and will decrease the flowing ability. Add thinner up to the specified percentage to compensate for the faster release of solvents.

garage door looks great!

my double garage door had peeling paint. it had been years since it was painted last. i scraped a bit and sandpapered it and used the epifanes wood primer on the bare wood spots. then followed up with epifanes yatch enamel. it looks great now. i'm not a handyman by any means but i was able to do this project.
