Liking them a lot, so far...
By problemchild from Whitmore Lake, MI

Have only rowed 20 miles with these, so far. But, I am liking them a lot. Being elderly, I only row about 15 miles per week. And, these oars seem very adequate for my basic needs. I'm using 7' oars on an Old Town Osprey canoe with 39" between oarlocks, and homemade PVC sleeves and collars. With these oars, I maintain 5 knots for an hour long workout. At my age, they will last the rest of my life.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

caviness synthetic economy oar
By dr from ct

i just received these oars, i am using them with carlisle clamp on plastic oarlocks. i was able to adjust the oarlocks for a sliding fit, the oar glides like in butter. i only have 4 hours on this set up but it works very well for me. i have a 44" wide flat bottom canoe with chined sides. i row for about 2 hours per trip to the local lake, 2 or 3 times a week.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Good product for the small lake
By Bill Jr from Mississipi

Had to make a modified mounting for mounting on a Tracker aluminum boat - which has a rounded rail around the top edge.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
