TotalBoat Silica Thickener is an extremely fine powder used to create a smooth, non-sagging, high-strength mixture for structural bonding, filleting, and filling. It can be used alone or in conjunction with Milled Glass Fibers or Phenolic or Glass Microballoons.
To prepare, first mix together the amount of resin/hardener that your project requires. Then add any fiber fillers or bulking agents and mix well. Add silica thickener to the mixture last. Remember to ALWAYS stir bottom to top.

Worked as described. Was surprised to find out how much is needed to achieve the desired thickness. Ran through a quart really fast. Ordered another gallon and it's everything I needed. Wear a mask or respirator when using

Easy, light, and applied with ease. I was expecting more texture in the hardened result, but smooth as it was laid. Great stuff!

I used the thickener to add body to the epoxy as instructed to fill holes from previous owners hardware position choices. After prepping and priming I now have integrity in areas that needed it.
