I previously used TotalBoat Teak Oil to refinish my teak dining room table, which is now 70 years old, but looks brand new. I figured this would work on our patio swing set, which has wood armrests, drink tables, and headrests. I don't think the wood is teak, but nevertheless the Teak Oil renewed the color of the wood very well. I used two coats, with sanding in between with 320-grit paper. Great results!

First of all, it comes in a steel can. Since I only use this on my tech platform once a year this 32 ounce will last me 10 years if it was plastic it would crack and waste. Secondly the price or value was better than any online supplier including eBay or Amazon. Thirdly, it was a direct purchase off their website which I have never used in the product and the communication and shipping all exceeded my expectations are and when it arrivedWas packaged with care and they included some thing they did not talk about applicators and a trawl to pour the liquid in along with stiring sticks. I have not used this product yet but I have total confidence that the oil is a premium quality give these guys a try oh in the personal touch the person who ships it signs their initials to the shipping manifest.

For years I used Schooner Varnish on most wood surfaces. It looked great, but all varnishes are work. I started using Total Boat Wood Finish where I wanted a glossy finish. I was very happy with the ease of application and the resulting appearance, but a lot of wood trim doesn't need to be glossy to look nice. I tried Total Boat Teak Oil on high use areas and areas where gloss wasn't essential. It was very easy to apply and will be easy to maintain over time and it enhanced the wood grain appearance. I like a good looking boat, but prefer to use my boat more than working on it. I will continue to use Total Boat Teak Oil.

Instructions on the teak oil can says to topcoat with Danish Teak Sealer, but review of the sealer product doesn't mention applying over Teak Oil. In fact, the Sealer video shows it being applied over a newly sanded wood surface. Come to find out the Oil and Sealer are similar products.

Worked great on our outdoor teak patio furniture. Rainwater just beads up on the wood and the color still hasn't faded yet. A small amount went a long way. This teak furniture was expensive, so it was worth the time to take care of the set even if it means re-oiling every so often. Looks great.
